The Bluebonnet House was established in 1992, by Bobby and Dale Ramey, and has become a popular stop on your way to Austin.  The shop carries a wonderful brand of candles, Candleberry, beautiful embroidery shirts, Canus lotions, quaint framed stitchery and many other special items. 

The Ramey’s are very proud of their handmade seasonal ceramics that has become a hit with their customers.  They make lovely pumpkins, all the way from large to a small end table size.  See the beautiful hand painted scarecrow's, many which that light up and others you think will come to life, due to looking so real.  Harvest is a special time in Chappell Hill, which usually finds the town decorated with every type of scarecrow throughout the town.

Christmas is a warm time with hand painted reindeers throughout the shop and lots of other seasonal favorites?  Angels are another specialty of the Ramey’s and you can even place special orders on many items.

Each spring is a new beginning to the year, with lots of new flowers in the garden center and bluebonnets blooming everywhere.  Rabbits are plenty, not only hand painted in the shop, but in the garden as well.

The garden offers many unusual plants, many that are hard to find.  You can also request Dale to try and locate something special you might be looking for to grown in your flower beds.
